ABOUT US
As we navigated the college roadtrip with our own kids, it was so easy to feel confused and so difficult to gain some control over the process. We prodded our kids about SAT prep, nudged them to ask questions during campus visits, and battled with them to finish their admissions essays and applications on time.
We’re here to tell you that we made it through the process successfully. Not only did our kids get into great schools, but they’re actually still talking to us! We realized that our 25 years of marketing, editorial and educational experience enabled us to guide our kids effectively through the maze of college choices and admissions decisions. We brought our business knowledge home and showed our kids how to prioritize and manage the necessary steps of the college process. At We Walked in Your Shoes, our staff of specialists includes a former New York University admissions officer and several Ivy League graduates.
